You are valuable, you are special. You are accepted and deeply loved by God who created you. God has a plan and purpose for your life. Your life counts for something, and you have hope. Every flaw, every mistake, you have ever done has already been made right and you are forgiven. You don't have to do anything to make it right. Jesus did it all for you.
God who created us all sent JESUS to make our lives better by teaching us how to live and restore our relationship with him. JESUS ended the separation we have from God and gave us a roadmap of how to live our lives a better way.
JESUS was a real person who demonstrated by his actions his actions that he was
You can have no greater leader or role model. No greater person has ever lived. And there is no greater teacher. Apart from man-made religious doctrines and creeds, Jesus' life was flawless, and his teachings are perfect. He called others to follow and trust in Him. We did, and we hope you will too.
Reach out, help, and offer hope in the name of Jesus. We do recreational events and provide services like mentoring. OHH and a massive thing is we want to re-open the youth center. We don't belong to any religion, we are his followers, and our faith is in him, not doctrines or religious arguments. We require nothing of you, just come as you are, respect others and our rules. We help unconditionally in Jesus' name. Following Jesus example to love and serve others. YOU DO NOT have to be a Christian, believe, or do anything. Its all-good Jesus loved and served others unconditionally, he tells us to do the same.
Our official name is Youth Haven Ministries, and we are a 501C3 non-profit organization. If you want, you can find out more about that at www.yhmusa.org
Please reach us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
ABSOLUTELY NOT! YOU CAN COME TO ANY EVENTS OR ACTIVITIES WITHOUT BEING FORCED TO LISTEN TO PREACHING AND WE WILL HELP YOU IF YOU WANT TO TALK WITHOUT ANY OF THAT... BUT- please know everything we do, everything we provide without asking for anything in return is done in the Name of Jesus Christ. I won't hide that, nor will anyone who volunteers with me. Also- know Jesus is so much a part of our lives that we talk about him a lot, like a best friend. Our whole lives revolve around Him and that friendship with Jesus. So, if that's going to offend you, then well what can I say people get so offended nowadays... Also know our end goal in all this is to share our faith with you and get you to want to talk to us about Jesus and want to ask questions and listen to us. We hope that day comes, and we will be praying for it, if and when you want to hear about Jesus. We will also hold 100% optional events to teach about Jesus....but you don't have to come to those if you don't want to. Fair enough?
So what! Come anyway and enjoy what we have to offer. No one is forcing anything on you or telling you what to believe.
ABSOULTLEY NOT! Jesus said, "Judge not or you will be judged" and "at whatever point you judge another person; you will condemn yourself because you do the same things." He told us to "remove the plank in our own eye before we seek to remove the speck in someone else's eye. There is a cool story of an angry mob condemning a woman for how she lived her life, and Jesus saved her from them, then told her "Who is left to condemn you, then neither do I."
ASK AWAY- NO JUDGEMENT- It makes our day when people ask us about our faith or why we believe. The bible says we are to "be ready" to answer anything like that, and "give a reason for the hope that is within us" So all the questions and opinions you have about faith that you have been afraid to ask or say...ASK AWAY. Just respect our views and we will respect yours. After all God gave us minds to use, and mouths to speak.
NO! I am a follower of Jesus Christ. Religion is a manmade system with doctrines. Jesus Christ was a REAL historical person who dedicated his life to helping others and bringing people back into a relationship with God. He taught us a way of living; he did not create a religion. I do go to a church, and like everyone else have people that I trust spiritual mentors who "keep me in line." BOTTEM LINE- IF JESUS DID NOT SAY IT, TEACH IT OR DO IT-- I REJECT IT. I follow him, not man-made rules, or traditions. Christianity teaches some things that Jesus never did, and some things he even taught against have become common. But more on that later (Now that's Gona piss a lot of people off.)
You CAN NOT do it AT OUR EVENTS OR ON OUR PROPERTY. LEAVE AND COME BACK IF YOU LIKE. AND PLEASE DO NOT ASK US FOR ANY. Like we said, everybody has their own personal things they struggle with. Some of us like our vices and sins. You know as well as we do, that's a legal thing. If we are mentoring you or hanging out with you in public and you are doing it, we aren't going to condemn you or lecture you. It's God's job to change people not ours. and if we are being fully honest as adults. Some of us smoke. So, no Fakeness here. God cares about you and Jesus wants into your life, more than he is interested in what you do or don't do.
Well, we are not your bedroom or a make out spot. But we DO realize people are humans in need of physical touch and affection. So, it's really a case-by-case basis. BASICLLY NO MAKING OUT IN FRONT OF US OR "DOING THE DEED" AT OUR EVENTS OR ON PROPERTY. Also, we ABSOLUTELY DO REPORT SEXUAL ASSAULTS, AND ANYONE MESSING WITH MINORS! NO CREEPS ALLOWED!
YES! BUT... We can agree to disagree on some things. Jesus never spoke on the issue. So, we don't dwell on it, condemn you, lecture you, or judge you. COME AS YOU ARE. But other people in the bible did say it was "sin". No more or less than gossip, hate, slander, divorce, or anything else. So, we won't lie or change what the Bible does say about it either. In addition, sorry but we don't do the politically correct pronoun thing. We will do for you exactly what we would do for anyone else. If you have or prefer a "nickname" we will use it. BOTTEM LINE- if you are looking to be told "its ok God made you that way, it's OK with him" you're in the wrong place. BUT you won't get condemned or lectured by us and we don't see you as any different than us. Everyone has things they struggle with. We are not perfect, and God loves us All. Jesus came to save us, not to condemn anyone.

BEFORE THE PROBLEM
THE PROBLEM
THE SOLUTION- JESUS
THE BIBLE
Hi, my name is Tony. First off, I don't like titles and I am NOT a part of any church, business, or organization. I'm just me. I do have my degree in counseling, pastoring credentials, and all that garbage people require to do this. But I'm just a guy with a passion who is on a mission to make a difference.
I started all this. It began when I was a teen and had no place to go hang out and felt all alone like an outsider in high school. I never forgot what that was like. Eventually God grabbed a hold of my life and I met Jesus, no longer feeling alone or like an outsider. God loved me my life had a plan and purpose. I didn't need to please anyone else or be anything or do anything. because God loved me anyway. I wanted to share that news of the total unconditional love and acceptance of God. You just don't hear that stuff in too many churches today. So, in 2017 I founded Youth Haven Ministries.
We had a simple concept: To make a difference and help kids by providing recreation and any help we could without forcing them to church or making them convert. We thought helping people is what Jesus did and we had a passion to help kids- so we followed JESUS example. We made ourselves available to kids if they wanted to talk about God and offered optional bible stuff- but we never required it and we accepted all kids without judging them. Our goal was to serve them unconditionally and help them because that's what Jesus would do.
At first, we just held FREE non-churchy events around town, FREE Hip Hop Concerts, FREE skate nights----then we opened a Teen Center.
Pasco Youth Haven became YHM Teen Centers before we closed due to COVID 19. We were open for a year and offered mentoring, counseling, life skills, leadership programs, clubs, parties, and most importantly a place for kids to just come hang out and be themselves.
The Teen Center closed, and we lost the building that was donated to us along with all our equipment. We were already losing volunteers and COVID finished us off with no staff to run a youth center. (I (Tony) also got sick for a long time with COVID and then continued to be sick, but it allowed me to do some serious soul searching... The reason the TEEN center was opened and the reason I did all that was to share my faith about Jesus----instead, it became more of a social services program, and I never got to share my passion for Jesus and Why I believe in Him, which was supposed to be the whole point. Helping others because of my faith in Jesus, to earn their trust and respect to be able to share with them my faith in Jesus
So P21X is born from the ashes of YHM TEEN Centers and Youth Haven Ministries.
If I can get volunteers and funding again all the old programs and services will resume--the student leadership, the LGBTQ Program, the events, and most importantly the TEEN CENTER. BUT P21X is my faith--IT DOES NOT BELONG TO ANY ONE CHURCH OR EVEN A RELIGION--IT BELONGS TO JESUS OF NAZARETH WHO I BELIVE IS THE CHRIST---MY LORD AND SAVIOR
I wasn't always a "Jesus freak." Like a lot of people, I was raised religious and was taught about God and the bible. As a child I grew up fearing everything I did or didn't do was going to send me to Hell and God would be angry at me. And like all children who believe in Santa Claus and stuff I took all those Bible stories as fact. I was also very alone and always felt like an outsider. Not only would people hurt me, but I thought IF God existed, he didn't approve of me because of what I was doing.
Well, I eventually rejected the faith I had as a child and was a bit worse than before. I just couldn't find my way. (Major pothead) and I hung out with an alternative crowd. But I still always felt like an outsider no matter what, and people would hurt me. Then I met a real life "Jesus Freak" who was a friend. Fun to be around, happy, even when he had stuff going on he always got over it and stuff never wrecked him. Most importantly he always treated me decently and never judged me. We would hang out no matter what I was doing, but He WOULD NOT do the "bad stuff." Then I got curious and went to his "Christain group."
I was skeptical but heard a different message than I grew up with. God LOVED ME AND ACCEPTED ME, I DIDN'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TO PLEASE HIM, BECAUSE JESUS CAME TO SAVE ME AND DID IT ALL FOR ME. I WAS VALUABLE AND SPECIAL, BECAUSE GOD SAYS SO AND CREATED ME FOR A PURPOSE. I COULD NEVER DO ANYTHING TO HAVE HIM STOP LOVING ME. AND JESUS CHRIST WANTED A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH ME..TO TALK WITH ME, TO LIVE INSIDE ME AND BE MY FRIEND. I DID NOT HAVE TO BE ALONE OR DO ANYTHING--IF FACT I COULD DO NOTHING TO EARN OR DESERVE IT, AND JESUS DID IT FOR ME. MY VALUE IS A CHILD OF GOD. Well, that shook my world.
I prayed, I studied the evidence, and I read the gospels for the first time (the stories of Jesus in Matt, Mark, Luke, and John.) As I studied the evidence, I realized Jesus was no fairy tale, he existed and made claims that I had to either accept or reject. I also fell in love with Jesus as a person, reading about what he said and taught. Even realizing the Jesus in the gospels was far different than the one I heard about growing up, (or is taught in some churches) He was a cool decent human being, who was an outsider himself. His main teaching--follow him, and he will lead you back to a right relationship with God who loves you. I went all in, and I accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and savior and began a relationship with him.
I was so filled with joy that ever since then I just wanted to go back and tell others to share that news with them. Since that time, because I wished I knew sooner- my driving goal is to spread that news---Good news to youth who like I was feel hopeless, lost, condemned, or unimportant. Jesus is for outsiders, losers, lawbreakers. He didn't come for the self-righteous stuck up churchy folks who think they have it all right, he came to save me and you and help us get back to God.
The funny thing is, and I will be honest. It has been quite a journey and is not yet complete. I "sinned" and screwed up more after I became a "Christian" after I was "In ministry" then I ever did before I became a follower of Jesus. I haven't always been faithful to Him, but he is faithful to me. and every single time I have messed my life up or screwed up no matter how bad (and believe me it's been several times) Jesus has been there to fix things, forgive me and restore my broken relationship to God. God is love, and he always forgives and takes me back. That's what I want you to experience.
So I try my best to do what God wants and not "sin" I often fail. because "sin" is "all wrong doing" its acts of hate, selfishness, rudeness, etc...the list goes on and one anything we do that hurts ourselves, others, or offends God, even the right things we know to do but often don't do, then we sinned. See contrary to popular belief its not some preset list of do's and don'ts or just 10 commandments. It's our hearts that God wants and he knows we are not perfect, which is why he sent Jesus, who by the way shares in God's very nature and power but is his son (long story for later). Anyway I have a peace and joy in my heart, knowing God loves and cares for me and I have an unconditional perfect friend and savior in Jesus. So, I follow him and encourage others to do so. That's my faith.
Yea, I believe in God. Yea I believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior. Yea I believe he died for my sins and rose from the dead to restore me to God and save me from Hell. Yea I believe that the way to get to God and go to Heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ. Yea, I believe when I accepted him, God has changed me a lot and leads and guides me while putting up with my imperfections and making me a better person drawing me to him.
I have been hurt by many churches and many people claiming to be "Christians" But I have learned to not let that stop me and now I look at Jesus instead of them. People will fail you, God never will. In addition, I have heard a lot of fake stuff and hate claiming to be "what Jesus says" calling itself "Christianity" So I have learned to reject that stuff and Just follow Jesus and trust God. Afterall just because someone claims to be something, don't mean they are. So everything I hear and see I just take to Jesus. I follow him not people. BUT I don't reject Jesus because there are bad or misguided people out there. Nor do I demand God answer all my questions about what I don't understand or justify himself to me. Because who am I but his beloved creation.
